The Workers Will Not Be
Fooled!     
On three occasions during the month
of July 2010, the Sarkozy-Fillon government took or announced legislative measures aimed
at finding scapegoats for its policies.
- In early July, with the Law on the
Burqa, the State, under the guise of misleading references
to
secularism and the rights of women,
intervened in a domain that it is not its purview -- that of the
private life of its citizens. This law is clearly intended to
ostracize a segment of the population. It aims to encourage communalism and to
foster communal tensions.

Olivia Gall, and by Trotsky's grandson, Esteban Volkov, to help
raise funds for the Trotsky Museum in Mexico City.

and preserve a slave-labor system that operated in the interests of capitalism
in its pre-industrialist stages, and it was retained in slightly modified form
by industrial capitalism after slavery became an obstacle to the further
development of capitalism and had to be abolished. Few things in the world are
more distinctly stamped with the mark of capitalism.
